Our machines and projects

Timber Workshop

The Workshop has an area set up with numerous machines for wood-turning, cutting, shaping and routing. The carpentry area also has a number of workbenches to provide solid work surfaces. Members undertake any personal project with the assistance of volunteer Instructors. A wide variety of projects are underway at any given moment, including furniture making and repairs, artistic creations and many wooden household items such as bowls, platters, pens, boards and racks.

Members can supply their own materials or select from an extensive range in the well-equipped workshop and storage facility. All necessary tools and machines are available to members to complete almost any wooden project or item. These projects must be for personal use only, and not for resale, commercial production or general retail.
